Bio
The best thing about growing up in East Texas was the time I spent hunting and fishing with my father. When I was 12 my dad said “it’s time you started to work construction.
“ I spent my summers working with my dad until after I graduated from Texas A&M. From there it was off to fly for the Air Force for a few years and then a lifetime of building and developing single family neighborhoods. I started my woodworking at the Air Force base wood shop and have never stopped. During my entire career, I continued to be a frustrated cowboy and rancher.
I raised longhorn cattle for several decades and still have a deep love for that breed of cattle. After retiring, with more time in my wood shop, I’m able to produce boards that are not only useful but have features and patterns that hopefully are fun to own.
